Where it all begun….
Stitch & Fix Alterations begun in 2021 with all kinds of alterations in my small flat in Woburn Sands. This soon turned into specialising in Bridal and bridalwear and moved in to a studio space nearby. Now, we are in the heart of Woburn with a beautiful fitting room for your friends and family to come and see your fittings process from a standard size fit to your perfect fit.
With a passion for sewing and all things fashion, I started my studies in 2010 and graduated with a BA honours in Fashion Design in 2017.

I bought my dress and Steph fit me in to get my dress altered with only around a week before the big day so turning around the dress very quickly.
Not only with the short timescale I gave her I was also 5/6 months pregnant. Although the dress was done super efficiently it looked absolutely perfect and fit me like a glove.
Steph altered the length, clips on the back of the dress and took a fair amount off the lacey shoulders.
I felt perfect for my day and Steph had a huge part to play in that!

If you have any queries on ALL alterations, please don’t hesitate to ask & we can arrange a fitting/consultation.
BRIDES ; I can provide guestimate pricing for your alterations before you are seen for a first fit.
This is based on the photos you provide of your dress and a vague idea of the alterations you may need.
You will get booked in for a first and second fitting in your initial email 8-10 weeks before your wedding date.
In these fittings you will need Correct Shoes, Any Accessories & Correct Underwear for the big day.
You can bring as many people as you wish to the fittings and appointments are between 30-45 minutes.
